ALBANY, N.Y. — The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) today announced the closing of $22.8 million in tax-exempt lease financing on behalf of NYSARC, Inc., d/b/a The Arc New York. Governor Kathy Hochul today announced the launch of the second round of the Building Recreational Infrastructure for Communities, Kids and Seniors (NY BRICKS) capital grant program, making $75 million available to municipalities and nonprofit organizations to build, renovate and modernize community centers across New York State. Governor Hochul secured the funding in the FY2027 Enacted Budget to support community centers that promote physical health, mental well-being and connections among youth and older adults. The second round of NY BRICKS will provide grants ranging from $250,000 to $15 million, with priority given to projects in underserved communities.
The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) today announced $1.8 million in state funding for improvements to the North Elba Showgrounds in Lake Placid, home to the internationally recognized Lake Placid and I Love New York Horse Shows. Governor Kathy Hochul awarded the $1.8 million in support, which DASNY will administer. This funding builds on a previous $6 million state investment to replace the Long Building at the showgrounds and will support further improvements to the facility.

ALBANY, NY - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) priced $1.18 billion in New York State School District Revenue Bonds to finance capital projects for public school districts across New York State and to refinance Bond Anticipation Notes (BANs) previously issued to support these improvements.
Governor Kathy Hochul today announced that funding is available from the new $10 million New York Providing Local Access to Essential Sustenance (NY PLATES) capital grant program. Governor Hochul secured this funding in the FY 2026-27 Enacted Budget to support food banks and other organizations that provide emergency food assistance in building the modern facilities, equipment, and infrastructure needed to serve more families across the state. NY PLATES will offer competitive capital grants to eligible Food Banks, Emergency Food Programs, and municipalities providing food relief services within New York’s 10 regional food bank territories. Eligible uses include capital costs related to, but not limited to, the design, construction or renovation of eligible program locations as well as for the purchase of equipment such as cold storage, freezers, and food transport vehicles. These investments will increase the capacity of critical food assistance organizations and enable them to safely store, transport, and distribute food to more New Yorkers in need.
