Bronx Joint is located at 925 Hunts Point Ave., Bronx, NY. 

Bronx Joint is owned by Bronx native Alexander Ortecho Jr. and his family, and was designed to pay homage to the history of hip-hop, art, and culture deeply rooted in the Bronx. Alex and his family are committed to creating a space that not only provides safe products, but reflects their pride in their community. Their goal is to remain community focused and true to the Hunts Point area through education and featuring local artists on the walls of the sales floor. 
 
Born and raised in the Northeast area of the Bronx, Alex graduated from Bronx Community College and later became an anesthesia technician in a New York City hospital. When Alex was young, his mother Vivian Arce, opened a beverage store with his Aunt. Alex, along with his sisters and brothers continue to work together in the family business. Alex wanted to honor the positive influence and strength of his mother Vivian, and the women around him. Catherine (Caty) Wooley, a local New York City graffiti artist painted a mural as tribute to Vivian, while highlighting other woman in the cannabis industry.
