William Jane Dispensary is Ithaca's first legal cannabis business and is owned by Brooklyn native William Durham. William spent most of his life upstate in Binghamton, NY and stepped into New York's cannabis market with a variety of experience in retail, construction, and property investment.
 
The dispensary is located in Ithaca Commons, a popular regional destination that is home to many unique shops, restaurants and entertainment in Downtown Ithaca. This location was formerly a used clothing store. William Jane Dispensary opened as a temporary pop-up in March 2023, and closed its doors for final renovations in January 2024.
 
William Jane Dispensary's goal is to provide more than just a transaction, but a place where education meets enjoyment. With a community-focused approach, they actively participate in local initiatives, support sustainable practices, and aim to create a friendly and inclusive environment.
