Sealed bids for the above work located at Capital District DDSO, Adirondack Dayhab, 200 Smith Drive, Corinth, New York 12822 will be received by DASNY at its office located at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207. Each bid must be identified, on the outside of the envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and designated a bid for the project titled above. When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside “BID ENCLOSED” and “ATTENTION: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS – JENNIFER BURTCH.” DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions.
Individuals submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. All individuals who plan to attend bid openings will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening.

The project consists of all work related to General Construction of the roof restoration at Capital District DDSO Adirondack Dayhab.
General Construction scope includes restoration of an existing flat membrane roof of approximately 31,000 sf, to remove and replace identified damaged insulation, and to provide roofing accessories such as drains and penetration boots. The project seeks to achieve a twenty year warranty on the roof restoration. The existing roof will not be removed except as required to repair damage. Some adjacent sealants (caulk) at the facia will be removed and replaced. These sealants have been identified as hazardous material due to a PCB content.
There will be one Contract awarded for the Work in this Project: General Construction Contract estimated at $460,000.00 to $510,000.00.
