Sealed bids for the above work located at Sunmount DDSO, 2445 State Route 30, Tupper Lake, New York 12986 will be received by DASNY at its office located at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207. Each bid must be identified, on the outside of the envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and designated a bid for the project titled above. When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside “BID ENCLOSED” and “ATTENTION: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS – JENNIFER BURTCH.” DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions.
Individuals submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. All individuals who plan to attend bid openings will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening.
Only those bids in the hands of DASNY, available to be read at 2:00 PM local time on June 5, 2018 will be considered. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid results can be viewed at DASNY’s website; http://www.dasny.org.

The Sunmount DDSO Personal Duress System (PDS) Project includes the installation of two new Bosch Security Escort PDS systems for the Sunmount DDSO facilities. CIT/RIT 1 and St. Lawrence RIT/ Building 10 will require complete new PDS systems and new Workstations set for remote monitoring in Building 2 Command Post. Included in the scope is to provide new roof mounted motion detection roof deterrent systems for the CIT1 Program Building for installation during/after the roof replacement project. Facility staff will remove the existing devices. The installation scope includes new multi-conductor fiber optic cable between RIT1 and RIT2/ Building 2 Command Center for PDS and future CCTV and security interfaces in new underground conduit between the buildings. The scope includes complete removal of the existing PDS system upon the successful completion and acceptance testing of the new systems. The systems shall be supplied, programmed, tested and commissioned by certified and authorized Bosch Security Escort integrator/dealers.
There will be one contract awarded for the work of this project: Electrical Contract estimated at $825,000.00 to $925,000.00.
