Sealed bids for the above Work located at Hudson Valley DDSO, 7 Wilbur Road, Thiells, New York 10984 will be received by DASNY at its office located at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207. Each bid must be identified, on the outside of the envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and designated a bid for the Project titled above. When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside“BID ENCLOSED” and “ATTENTION: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS – JENNIFER BURTCH.” DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions.
Individuals and entities submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. All individuals who plan to attend bid openings will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening.

DASNY is soliciting bids for the rebid of the Mechanical trade work for the AHU Replacement at Hudson Valley DDSO. The scope is as follows:
CR 6 - MECHANICAL - HVAC & Controls
The scope of work requires the full replacement of the existing air handling units. Modification of existing ductwork, heating and cooling pipes, and equipment configurations will be required including new valves for existing perimeter radiators. Work will commence following asbestos abatement throughout the cellar spaces where equipment is installed and must be completed within accepted phasing plans. New building management controls will be installed with the new equipment to provide adequate temperature control for the occupied spaces. The contract is estimated at between $1,900,000 and $2,400,000 with Alternate # 1 to replace AHUs at Building # 42 valued at $651,389.
