DASNY is soliciting bids for the Building 12 Roof Replacement with Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Abatement at Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse, New York.
The existing PVC roof will be removed on the roof. The existing roof deck is a pitched metal deck. The new roofing system will be a reinforced white TPO roof system. New perimeter blocking and coping will be installed. The roof drains are centrally located and a tapered system with 1/8 inch to 12 inches pitch will be provided. The tapered insulation will have a base thickness of 5.2 inches/R-30. Asbestos containing materials were found to be present.
One Construction Contract will be awarded with an estimated value of $900,000 - $1,050,000.
