DASNY is soliciting bids from Single Prime Contractors for the following Scope of Work to be performed at the State University of New York College at Delhi:
The project scope within O’Connor Hall (Base Bid) and Murphy Hall (Alternate 1) consists of the removal of the existing fire alarm control panel, devices and wiring and replacement with new addressable systems throughout both buildings. Remove unitary controllers serving HVAC and laundry makeup air and exhaust systems and connect these systems to campus wide building management system. Patch/paint as required after all new conductors and devices have been installed. There is asbestos abatement associated with the project. Refer to the Project Documents (Project Manual and Drawings) for entire work scope. Work in O’Connor Hall is the Base Bid. Work in Murphy Hall is Alternate 1. There will be one contract awarded for this project.
It is anticipated that construction for O’Connor Hall will commence in mid-May 2022 and be completed by August 5, 2022. It is anticipated that construction for Murphy Hall will commence in mid-May 2023 and be completed by August 4, 2023. The estimated Construction Cost for the Base Bid is between $750,000 and $780,000. The estimated Construction Cost for Alternate 1 is between $750,000 and $780,000.
