Sealed bids for the above Work located at St. Lawrence PC - Building 202 & 203, 1 Chimney Point Drive, Ogdensburg, New York 13669 will be received by DASNY at its office located at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207. Each bid must be identified, on the outside of the envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and designated a bid for the Project titled above. When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside “BID ENCLOSED” and “ATTENTION: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS – JAMIE CHRISTENSEN.” DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions.
All individuals who plan to attend pre-bid meetings or bid openings in person will be required to complete and present a DASNY Visitor Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire, present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening. The questionnaire and all instructions are located after Section 19.0 of the Information for Bidders.

DASNY is soliciting bids for the replacement of the emergency generators at Buildings 202 and 203 at the St. Lawrence PC Facility in Ogdensburg, NY.
Two existing diesel-powered generators will be removed from the interior of buildings 202 and 203. The existing underground diesel fuel storage tanks that currently serve the generators, along with their associated day-tanks, piping and controls will also be removed. The existing generator housekeeping pads will be removed. The existing generator rooms will be modified to remove the exterior exhaust/intake louvers and the generator exhaust piping. The exterior walls will be infilled where the louvers were removed.
The existing generators will be replaced with new natural gas generators located outside the building in weather-proof, sound attenuated enclosures. New concrete pads will be provided for each generator. New exterior mounted Emergency Power Off (EPO) pushbuttons will be provided for each generator. The automatic transfer switches associated with each generator will also be replaced. New underground feeders and control wiring to the new generator locations will be provided from the buildings.
Other interior building electrical modifications will be required for Building 203.
The building’s natural gas services will be extended to serve the new generators.
There will be limited hazardous materials removals as part of the project.
