In general, the scope of work includes the upgrade of the BMS controllers, operating software, user terminals and server at Rockland Children's P.C. For the controllers, we are recommending using Siemens Fast Forward process so we can reuse existing enclosures and infrastructure and replace the MEG controllers with PXCC/PXCM series controllers.
Provide labor, supervision, engineering submittals, balancing, training, and all associated items for a complete installation.
- Replace the existing MEG controllers with PXCC/PXCM series controllers.
- Operating system and associated hardware to be upgraded to the most current version of design at the time of installation.
- Work to be phased to minimize or eliminate interruption of space comfort controls for all areas.
- Integrate all available metering points and all new equipment into BAS front-end.
- Update all graphics, alarms, and trending for improved user functionality.
- Update chilled and hot water energy meter to enable the collection of al! monitoring points.
- Integrate remote access. Use the OMH preferred method at the time of this installation.
- Re-use existing enclosures.
- Reload existing programming into the new controllers.
- CAT 5 wiring: Existing MEG controllers communicate via BACnet/IP. Existing CAT-5 drops will be re-used.
