When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside“BID ENCLOSED” and “ATTENTION: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS – JENNIFER BURTCH.” DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions.
Individuals and entities submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. All individuals who plan to attend bid openings will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening.

The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) is soliciting bids from Single Prime Roofing Contractors for the following Scope of Work to be performed at the Broome Developmental Center, OPWDD Broome DDSO Buildings 1 and 1G.
This project is to remove the existing single ply roofing system and replace with a new Aggregate Surfaced SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) Modified Bitumen Membrane roofing system. Primary roofing system may not be subcontracted. The project will also include masonry repointing and the replacement of skylights and ladders, and removal of existing fencing systems.
It is anticipated that all work will commence in late spring 2020 and be completed by November 13, 2020. The estimated Construction Cost is between 2,250,000 and $2,650,000.

The bidder or its principals must have completed five (5) contracts of relatively similar size, scope and complexity within the last five (5) years or demonstrated an increasing ability to successfully complete contracts of incrementally larger size and scope within the last five (5) years.
