DASNY is soliciting the services of a General Contractor for roof replacement and building façade replacement work, including minor asbestos remediation and PCB removals, demo of existing built up roofing materials and also ballasted membrane systems down to the deck and installation of a new solar ready EPDM roofing system. The project will also include the removal of existing limestone façade panels and installation of new DFIS panels on separate building.
This will be a single trade prime general construction contract, at Ulster County Community College (SUNY Ulster).
Work will commence in May 2022 and complete early August 2022. There is a potential to continue work into the Fall at the Owner’s discretion. Estimated Construction Cost Range: $1,800,000 - $2,000,000.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:
The bidder or its principals must have completed five (5) contracts of relatively similar size, scope and complexity within the last five (5) years or demonstrated an increasing ability to successfully complete contracts of incrementally larger size and scope within the last five (5) years. Contractor must have experience in completing projects of similar magnitude within a comparable construction time frame of three months.
